i hate to say it, but i'm glad the band took 2 years off to get their shit together.. firing on all cylinders indeed. this show makes pondfest look like it was me, hoohah and tedderbo playing up there blindfolded

yeah, not my thing. hoping they don't go to the 3 hour 10 song format. I like my 6-10 minute songs with a nice 2-3 min jam in them. I can even go 12 min....just don't dig the whole 20+ min song thing. That's a big reason I stopped going to moe (well other than theyre last 2 or 3 albums have been pretty terrible imo, but i digress)

Hope it does not run you off, but it is fully going there! I would expect to start seeing 6 songs or less in a set with heavy jamming and segues all over the place. They are using some new listening excercises that are teaching them to follow the music and where it wants to go, instead of forcing things to fit where they don't.
