To maintain organization, we have created several forums devoted to specific types of discussion. The RAQmusic forum is devoted for all topics related to RAQrecordings (audio only). This does not include RAQphoto/video, RAQstreet-team intiatives, tour-related topics (tourdates, meet-ups, tour guides, etc), nor discussion about RAQ's music. Please use the proper forum for the the aforementioned topics. Thank you.

All within a month and those folks saved me about $120.00 on all of those items. Know what I had to do to get all of that free recording gear accessories ??? NOTHING AT ALL! I simply stated to some folks that I got a new set of MBHO Active microphones and they all kicked me that shit for free out of SHEER RESPECT so I could start recording with the new gear so I had everything I needed since I have been taping for 10 years and have uploaded and spread thousands of my recordings  BUT, I would have 100% honestly done the same thing if I could have helped someone out as well So now I have (2) Shure a53m donut shockmounts for my MBHO KwonBars for my actives setup Pretty damn cool if you ask me. They cost about $40.00/each and now I have one shockmount for a DINa bar and one Shockmount for a DIN or NOS bar, whichever I get first. I really dont need two, and if someone PM'd me asking fi they knew where to get a Shure 153m because they BADLY needed one quickly, I would probably give them my extra one. But if I get the other KwonBars which I will def do come this fall(I REALLY only need one shure a53m shockmount) I will ALWAYS have an extra if something were to happen to the one I am currently using Anyway, I am going to stop rambling about my goddamn Shure a53m Shockmounts and DPA windscreens and 'dead rats' that I got for free and just say that taperssection.com is DEF a special place for us tapers and has a bit of everything for everyone into taping. Not to mention the site is BY FAR the best and most extensive and resourceful website IN THE WORLD for recording and taping music, BY FAR  My Phish taper buddies, hell, we manily met and hooked up and connected on ts.com Post-hiatus I didnt mail-order ANY TICKETS(1. was because I HATED the newer random mail-order method, I am from the old-school and liked sending my mail-order tickets thru the good ole post office from back in the day when you took around $800.00 and went to teh PO and filled out a money order for EACH SHOW youw anted and also wrote 'Tapers Tickets' and then all of the shows you were ordering on the outside of your envelope with all of the separate money orders enclosed, and also a money order for Fedex for like $7 or $8.00 dollars so they could send you the tickets back to you if you got your order filled! And I got EVERY tapers tickets I EVER sent for with that method. I remember in 2000 summer tour, I got ALL 5 of the end of the summer's tapers tickets because I knew how to send my MO's in 100% correctly and got in All 3 nites of Deer Creek 7/10,11,12/2000(some of the MOST SOLD OUT SHOWS in Phishtory from my memory. 10,000 folks stood outside those walls without tickets, AT LEAST) and BOTH nites of Columbus/Polaris on 7/14,15/2000 and was DEF one of teh VERY FEW that got hooked up with all 5 tapers tix to close the tour! and 2. was because I didnt HAVE TO send away for tapers tickets post-hiatus because of www.taperssection.com. My buddy Dave Bigham and Jason Lonchar would kick me tapers tix to ANY show I wanted since they were TIGHT with Chris Kuroda and got EVERY ticket and as many as they wanted for ANY show. They got me into the 20th Anniversary show with EASE, not to mention COUNTLESS other shows post-hiatus, as long as I wanted to tape those shows! oh and I am still on the fence about Clevelan on 9/18 Ned. I may have to bail, but if there is ANY chance in hell, I will make it. It's just gonna be rough, because ive been off of work for 3 weeks and money is tight. And I am going back this coming monday(9/17) and I will most def have to miss work on 9/19 if I go. I will tell my boss I am getting paid to record and he may say 'Fuck It' and tell me to go
So we'll see, def gonna be a GAMETIME decision for sure! |
