RAQrecordings Forum Posting Guidelines

To maintain organization, we have created several forums devoted to specific types of discussion. The RAQmusic forum is devoted for all topics related to RAQrecordings (audio only). This does not include RAQphoto/video, RAQstreet-team intiatives, tour-related topics (tourdates, meet-ups, tour guides, etc), nor discussion about RAQ's music. Please use the proper forum for the the aforementioned topics. Thank you.

We have really come together to get an amazing number of shows taped. Lets not loose this momentum. Keep up all the good work everybody. I want the band and the management to be proud that they made the decision to allow guest list tapers tickets available. We now have an amazing number of different sources available for shows that typically had only one or two. This is a great thing! Another thing that I am amazed by is the shear speed of turn around on these tapes. This hopefully will show the band what a dedicated group of hard working tapers they really have and I hope that they appreciate that as much as I do. Now to the nitty-gritty. As of late the tittle format Used in the recordings forum has not been followed as closely as I would like. There is a reason that I have set this up and it is not because I am an anal prick as some would believe. When the system is followed it makes it very easy to glance at the recordings forum and find a show in a quick and simple manner. It also allows the more computer savvy to set up search parameters and find a show or a series of shows with "one click" simplicity. I really think it would be easy for us to adhere to this without much thought or effort if we just familiarize ourselves with it for a minute. Topic Title Format: [TYPE] YEAR.MONTH.DATE: VENUE, CITY, STATE Example: [LMA] 2006-09-21; Toad's Place, New Haven, CT I have gone through and corrected a whole slew of posts to better follow this format. Check it out I think everyone will agree that it is way easier to read and find shows if we keep it organized. I will continue to clean up as I see fit but would appreciate it if you could put forth the effort to make it easier on me. Thanks everybody! Kris TON TAPERS
